Are the 2006 and newer Volkswagen models reliable and good mechanically?
I’m looking to buy a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta GLI and have been doing some research on Volkswagen’s. I have seen mixed reviews and just want to know if this particular vehicle would be a good purchase. Reliability and quality are very important to me.
Yes these are good cars.

mitsubishi eclipse 1995 , gs , 82k miles on it , says it runs excellent but have to sell , for like 2900 !??? is that suspicouse ? can the car have something really wrong with it ? can it be a lemon ?
a mechanic cant always find everything wrong with it
its actually kinda cheap compared to other cars in the same range
That sounds pretty normal to me. After all it is the gs not the higher model. Plus it is 12 years old now. These cars where only 17 grand to begin with

Have a dilemma, I have to sell either my 76 Lancia Scorpion or Alfa Gtv-6, which should it be?
I’m fortunate to have both a 76 Lancia Scorpion w/54k original and an Alfa Romeo Gtv-6 1983, in my posession. The only down fall is that I’m forced to sell one of the two. This is rather silly but I love the Alfa for it’s power/speed and dependability but love the Lancia for it’s uniqueness and rarity; think about this, how many Scorpions have you actually have seen on the road? I know that the Scorpion will increase in value if it hasn’t already, same goes with the Alfa, but if you’ve own either one, which would you choose?
